I'm sorry I can't comment on the fur shops. I like the ad. "...our skins close to yours.." CLEVER!

 

It looks like whoever put the ad together, turned the negative around, that is, flipped the image. The man's coat has the right lapel going over the left while the woman's coat has the left lapel going over the right. Both are opposite of what we find.

 

Like the shearling though!

The picture was probably flipped. It's an old trick. In the old days, you had to flip the negative. Today, you just use Photoshop.
