Guest
Any guys here ever try onfeminine furs or ever want to? Or any guys here ever try on some woman's fur coat? Well racer, speaking as a women I always found it interested that male fur enthusiasts seem to prefer women's furs over mens. Is there any particular reason for that? red_fox
well, I don't have much choice here where I live hahahaha, because mostly of the rarer coats that I find, are for woman. but I don't have any issue about it, after all, I'm too much "slim", so it helps to find coats that fits. and I like both styles, usualy the ladies gets bigger collar and cuffs, but the mens gets bigger buttons and a bigger design. I like both worlds in this aspect
fox4me
I have to admit I'm attracted to women's furs due to the fact men's coats are boxy, expensive and I have to have a big fur collar to make me happy. I own two mink coats with large matching fox collars and enjoy wearing them often. There is nothing more fun than snuggling into a big fox collar on a cold night. I've always been hooked on big women's fur coats, that's all there was when I was younger. To this day I get a rush when I get to try on a somebody else's coat even though I own several of my own. Whenever I go to my furrier I always make sure to try on a beauty and he is very happy to accommodate.
Love for fur
I like feminine furs on females and for myself I think there's not many good looking furs for men.
auzmink
Auzmink was here last week and not seen since,. Alas Tryxie, I cannot be here all the time which I think is the same for a lot of us. Perhaps we have competing demands on our time and whilst happy to offer help and time to projects, we don't need someone to quash the sense of volunteering and group spirit. I like enthusiasm, I don't respect negativism. Auzmink
Guest
Any guys here ever try on feminine furs or ever want to? Or any guys here ever try on some woman's fur coat? I've only ever worn women's furs. When my fetish life started I didn't realize there were furs for men, so it wasn't really a choice. As I learned more, I just didn't like the look or feel of men's furs. As for the excitement, yes the thought of wearing a woman's jacket does turn me on. I frequent escorts to fulfill my fur desires and one, who I was a regular client for, asked me about cross dressing. I told her the only interest in women's clothing was fur. Just the thought of being in a fur turns me on. We would spend our time together in and out of the same furs, she actually enjoyed putting them on me. One time she even had me wear a pair of her panties. Well, every now and then I will wear panties with my furs. Guess it is the attraction to things feminine and maybe the "naughtiness" of wearing a woman's jacket that gets me horny. All I know is it doesn't take long for me to get aroused by my Saga Blue Fox jacket.
White Fox
What I find is that there are just few men's furs to try, and they are all the same one size fits all dark brown. Huge and not fitting properly. For example. I remember going in one time to a store and tried on a men's coyote. They kept trying to tell me how good it looked. To be truthful it looked terrible as it was probably six sizes too big. I asked to try on a woman's coyote with white fox and it looked gorgeous on me. I didn't getit at the time but always wished after that I had. But that is a good example. They could have changed the buttons on the second and it would have been fantastic. NOTHING they could have done to that first coat would have made it look good. To put it simple. It Stunk! W

The only style of "men's fur" I can find that looks good is a shearling bomber jacket. I dated a guy once who had one and I used to steal it all the time. minkme
I recently went to a fur store. They. Had a mink cat marked as a men's size 46. The guy says its for us and helped me put it on. The coat hook right. Over left. That's a womencoat right?
Earendil
I prefer feminine furs too. They're usually more fluffy and sensual in my opinion - The collars are bigger and more voluptuous, and so are the sleeves! I also really like the shoulders of a big fox fur when they are puffed up. There are also more accessories available in matching style.
Panther10
I only wear full length foxes which are typically more unisex anyway.
Fox
I agree with some of the other sentiments here in that I hugely prefer the look of women's furs over men's. They're almost always so much more voluptuous, and encompassing. I illustrate my point thusly: Gah! I would LOVE to have this coat, either for me or a significant other: http://www.purpleshoshana.com/results/details.asp?pc=1264 While on the other hand this is nice, but... http://kaufmanfurs.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=533 That being said, if I do purchase a fur for myself, I'll get something at least unisex looking, if not masculine. But I generally don't like how "masculine" furs look.
White Fox
They key of course is to find what looks good on YOU! With one guy that might be for instance a coyote for a man. With another guy it might be one for a woman. Depends on the individual and the design of the coat. I like that blue fox by purple S as well. But the only problem is that the stole is really too big to make a hood so it is kind of impractical for a guy. But having a collar on a coat that goes almost down to the finger tips would really be neat I think.

Worker 11811
To me, a fur coat is a fur coat and gender has little to do with it. I do, however, see that styles are skewed more toward women's tastes but that doesn't necessarily exclude men from wearing them. Case-in-point: Liberace. When he wore fur, nobody thought whether it was a "man's fur" or a "woman's fur." Consider cars. Most people would admit that the marketing for cars tends to skew more toward men's tastes but wouldn't think twice about a woman driving a sports car. Case-in point: Adrianne Barbeau driving a Lamborghini in the movie, "Cannonball Run." I think it has more to do with whether you (the wearer) can pull off the style to wear furs than it does with whether the fur is a "man's fur" or a "woman's fur." Fur's fur. shadow87
Earendil hit it on the head for me. The women's furs (especially the full ones like fox, lynx, or coyote) always seem to have collars and sleeves that are much more plush and heavy.
Mr Barguzin
First fur coat I ever tried on in a furriers, now sadly gone.. the business as no way could I afford the coat.. was a full length ladies blue fox coat with the pelts worked horizontally, and I can still recall the feeling of walking about in the small salon and the sensations I was getting from my sides as the sleeves brushed against the body. The furs I've bought had been woman's until a few years ago when I lashed out and bought a beaver jacket with fisher collar, for wear when in US... in their winters. So yes, and yes and also chalk up one to the individuals who can wear and by men's furs. Now, where's me winning Lotto ticket. Love to get a couple of indigo or blue frost double breasted full length coats *grin* (Blue fox would be just for private occasions)

grouchomg
I have both men's and women's furs and love them all! (I am partial to thick high collars that caress the neck or hoodies... even better - see avatar.) finding women's furs that fit is a bit of a challenge, as I am tall (6'2" 188cm) and have long arms. For the ones that I've found, however, they were worth the wait.)
Guest
That purpleshoshana blue fox fur coat is stunning. Those are very high quality pelts. Here is an example of a poor quality blue fox. Notice the collar at 0:17. That blue fox fur looks so cheap.
