White Fox Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I just love the Intensity of the blue fox in this photograph. I was wondering if anyone here can tell us about it. Are these folks members here? Are those matching his and hers coats? Is it a coat with a scarf, or a coat over a jacket of some sort? Any idea on where it was taken, and why? Was it truly just two people someone saw in a subway for instance? http://thefurden.com/cpgfd/displayimage.php?album=28&pid=35566#top_display_media
Guest Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Wish I did. I recall sorting that photo and thinking how great it would be to have "his and hers" coats. I know a little corny, but fun. Too bad the people don't look too excited.
TeaseMeWithFur Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 They look like Thier from Brighton Beach and not enjoying riding the subway,
Guest Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I was thinking Russians, but didn't want to stereotype. Wouldn't Russians be wearing sable?
minkme Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I could be Russia. Someplace that is super cold where the guy will wear fox. His and Her fox furs.
auzmink Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 They do look kinda gloomy which given the coats they are wearing would probably suggest they are not one of us! I mean, would we be that gloomy? Auzmink
White Fox Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 The fact that he has a camera and she has a good cell phone makes me wonder if it is some other place. Not that many tourists in Russia in winter as it is so cold there. I was wondering if the fact of their look on their faces might be due to the fact of someone taking the photograph, and their wondering if it might be a PETA freak. Who knows though. We will probably never know.

This photo was taken as he was in subway somewhere in Russia, but has no link with the woman. It's because it's a stolen photo taken by any kind of tourist, that my friend looks lost in his thoughts... just taking tha subway, nothing particular here. And I can tell you he''s french, not russian, lol. His coat is absolutly GORGEOUS, even if it's not obvious here, every woman who came at the meeting tried it... and men too ! If you're not tall enough, you're surrounded by fur ! It goes with a bluefox cape that widely cover shoulders and half of the back, and it can also be a huge hood. Nice piece of fur !
Marcel Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 was that tourist also a member on your forum and posted it in your gallery?
elbas3175 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Ha ha, good story! Did he sit next to her deliberately, because she was wearing a matching blue fox? I know all the women in Russia wear furs when it's cold, but they are mostly minks in my experience.
fourrureclub Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 was that tourist also a member on your forum and posted it in your gallery? No, he didn't posted it in our galleries as he didn't know that this photo was taken I really don't know why it was taken, the photos was posted at several places on the net... You'll see the full coat with hood on this page about our first fur meeting : http://www.fourrureclub.com/blog/5340-la-convention-1/ (just before the part labelled "dimanche", picture on top right) And also here on the 3rd meeting : http://www.fourrureclub.com/blog/5335-la-convention-3/ First group of photos, at right...
