minkme
I know there are several kinds of fox furs...white, blue, crystal, black, red, silver. Are there one fox that is thinker than the other? Cheaper than the other? What kinds are there, advantages and disadvantages, does one shed more?
Panther10
American grey fox and Finnish blue fox are usually the least expensive. Silver fox and cross fox are usually the coats that usually have the thickest, deepest pile. All fox furs typically have a combination of guard hairs (which will always shed) and a denser underfur. How quickly the hairs tends to shed will depend on how properly it was maintained by both yourself and the furrier it was bought from and stored in. As a rule if there is more moisture in the air the hairs will shed faster, but in drier climates the hairs will shed less frequently
