Webshots 2006 Photo Diary, Chapter I: January 23

My friends,

 

I took some much-needed time off tonight with my furs...which means you're in for a treat. Now that I have over a thousand pictures from online photo albums in a "favorites" folder, I started catalogging the pictures for ease of posting here in the Den.

 

Over the course of the summer, I'm going to post them in the order that I found them, categorized as follows:

 

Joe's Favorites

 

Good

 

O.K.

The "I don't judge 'em, I just post 'em" category.

 

Rabbit

Some of you absolutely adore it, and others hate it. I feel that the pictures of people in rabbit fur have a character all their own. Sheared and Rex don't apply here.

 

Faux

Any picture solely depicting fur that was man-made.

 

La Festa Di Salsiccia

I'm sick of seeing "male alert" attached to some of these webshots postings. Call me a bit of an affirmitive-action feminist, but I've created a category that my friend Christiano calls "una festa di salsiccia" in Italiano. The men have to be wearing the fur in these pictures, but sometimes some gents will show up in my favorites for fur's sake.

 

Huhwha?

A special category at the end of every link post, documenting broken links and pictures I can't find anymore. Webshots pics only stay up as long as their owners keep them online, so I recommend downloading and saving the ones you want as soon as you find 'em. I wish I had done that hundreds of times.

 

Here are the links I found on January 23, 2006. My fellow mods, PLEASE help me with captions. I just took a few minutes to copy and paste the links into a text file in their respective categories...I would love it if you tagged the links with a caption or comment at your discretion. In lieu of captions, numbers on the links might help navigate. To be honest, my friends, I'd rather take the time for other things. Mods, I know y'all can do it.

Folks, I've been trying to find the pics of a gorgeous girl wrapped up in sable, well, since January 23. The captions on Webshots were:

 

"trying on my glitzy grandma's fur coat"

"hiding andrew in the chinchilla..."

 

...and in one of the pictures, the sable girl was hugging a young brown-haired boy in her sable coat. Of course, the second picture wouldn't have made it here anyway, but if anyone saved the pictures, drop me a pm or email. Also, this link seems broken, but it worked the other night:
