Is it worth it to clean chinchilla fur?

Hello.

 

I am selling one chinchilla fur headband on eBay because I am having another one made for me by a Los Angeles furrier. Is it worth the money to get the new headband, which is not ready yet, cleaned and stored in the summer? I know chinchilla fur is very fragile and requires very delicate handling, but is it worth the money to protect the two chinchilla pelts that make up the headband, which I intend to keep indefinitely?

If you can make it a part of a large enough batch, maybe. Otherwise, no.
