Velvet_Tigress
I found a few good quotes by Samuel Clemens whilst whiling away my day on this darned interweb, but this one caught my eye: "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society." I see the phrase Clothes make the WOMAN, but that's just me. Anyone care to share their favorite quotes? imax-7
This really isn't a quote, but it is one of my favorite movie lines. From: Star Trek V The Final Frontier "Don't worry about me captain, I know this ship like the back of my hand". Spoken by Scotty as he walks right into a bulkhead and knocks himself out. Reminds me a lot of myself. I claim to know something then I find out how much I really know .

allfurme
For all of those of us (and that must be 99.999999999999999% of the population) who are different; from having a passion for fur to having two heads - Johnny Eck says it all!

Unclejoe420
Not sure who said this, but it pretty much sums up my current mood atm: "Opinions are like assholes - everybody's got one" Feel free to delete or censor this post as appropriate. Earendil
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. This is more or less what I have lived my life on since I read it..

Guest
"Frankly my dear I dont give a damn" clark gable to vivien Leigh in gone with the Wind. No reason; just like the way he had to emphasise give intead of damn for censorsip reasons. Sometimes its not WHAT is said but the way it is said. Thats why churcills quotes always come to mind. Especially "we will fight them on the beaches.....and we will NEVER surrender". That ought to be our furden anti PETA slogan. Incidentally my girlf is the spitting image of Vivienne Leigh. Fox
"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly." Unclejoe420
I quite like what is written on Spike Milligan's headstone: "I told you I was Ill" A joker to the last, bless 'im!! Also, you may want to consider a brief exchange during one Sketch from his "Q" series: "You're standing on my hole." "well, you must be a funny shape!" Classic!!
