furnz Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Hi everyone. I know it's totally the wrong time of year. But as we're from the other side of the world can anyone give us any ideas for places and especially furriers to vist in London or the lower half of England? Any help would be appreciated. P.s. the more big foxs etc the better. And we'd love to check out some sables, lynx and chinchilla too.
furs limited Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Back home, do you have your own collection of NZ possum?
furnz Posted June 27, 2017 Author Posted June 27, 2017 No. But I actually a possum trapper as job. And also we have started Makarora Fur Co. (on Facebook). Possums not anywhere near my favorite fur. I'm saying that the winter skin are Very good for bed throws etc as there very hard wearing.
luxurysable Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Try Dennis Basso's in Harrods in Knightsbridge, expensive but is fur creations are divine, he insists on working with the finest skins.
furnz Posted June 28, 2017 Author Posted June 28, 2017 Yes thanks we have Harrods on our list. Is there anywhere like Annabella? We'd love to get to pravia but I don't think we'll make it. May get to Paris but I think we'll run out of time.
lynxette Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I have personally shopped at a second hand furrier called Gale Furs. Great selection of fluffy furs at not so big prices.
furnz Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 Thanks Lynxette. We'll be definitely keen on looking at thier selection. Thanks for the tip.
lynxette Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 You are welcome. They are located to the north of Regents Park.
