Furrymare Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Sorry for my bad English ... I have heard from some of my fur friends that it was a good way of fur care to air the furs outside now during misty autumn nights. I did so last night with my blue fox stroller but it felt quite moist afterwards. Is that procedure really good for fur and the leather side? What do I have to pay attention when doing so? Any experiences?
punisherthunder Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I would say not to do that. What are you trying to do to it? Clean it or take a smell out?
Furrymare Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Well just as some sort of refreshment. To enhance the volume of the fur and provide the leather with moisture, not to become to dry and brittle. My furs don't have a bad smell but of course smell better after being in fresh cold air, after the summer in the wardrobe.
minkme Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Don't get the leather wet. If you want to air it out, setup some portable fans in the house to blow on the fur.
Furrymare Posted September 27, 2017 Author Posted September 27, 2017 Although nobody here seems interested. I have made good experiences with doffing my furs outside at night. They are more fluffy and shiny afterwards.
