identifying Russian fur hat

Hi does anyone know what kind of fur this might be, it's a ushenko /trapper style hat that i bought second hand. I include a pic of the lining, which is obviously in Russian

 

The fur is very soft in all directions.

To me the images look like beaver, but I could be wrong.

True vintage. But the sign won't help you identifying the fur. It says something like

 

USSR

Fur06....... (can't read that)

Rot-Front (original german for Red Front - name of brand I guess)

Leningrad (in-between name of Saint Petersburg)

I think it is beaver. That is what first came to mind.
