dbawss1
I liked leather first and there were a lot of pictures and videos with women in leather pants / gloves and wearing a fur and it just started something else in me, especially chinchilla.
ChicagoFurFan
I grew up a few blocks from a furrier. (Andriana’s in Chicago for any familiar with it, pretty recognized local brand). They have a ton of pictures of models in their furs on the window display for the store, and even as a very young child I was fascinated by these beautiful, beaming models and the incredibly luxurious looking furs they wore of every pelt type, color, and tactile diversity you could imagine. I wanted to know why it made them so happy, why it made them even more beautiful, and why it made me feel something different than almost anything else had. Furthermore, why did something most of my friends and family were against make me so excited. As I grew up, I began to realize that fur and leather weren’t just beautiful fabrics, but markers of class, wealth, and taste. My infatuation grew even further. Once I actually touched fur for the first time — my aunt’s mink coat — I knew I wasn’t going back.
