Peltzz
There is a small size lynx lynx coat with nice markings at a vintage shop in town. Its 350$ and I was thinking if it would be good idea to have it turned into a cape/ wrap.

Fox
Don't give a shit what a bunch of strangers on the internet think. Do what YOU want to do (assuming it doesn't harm others obviously).

Charfur
Not sure if this is a great idea, you will also pay for the work, I think it is worth to take a look a new cape/wrap. I am not expecting a large price difference, labor is simply expensive. The amount of money you will spend on it is not worth it in my opinion. A small size coat will have not have a large number of skins, so you have to get creative in lining up the skins to make something nice. It might work out nice and fine but a new lynx is not really expensive at the moment. So let's say you will spend $400 on rework in total $750. Panther10
Also if it’s a $300 fur that’s pretty inexpensive for a lynx. That’s like craft cutter quality. But the give and take there is that the condition of the skins might not be what you bargained for and they could shred like tissue paper. Even if it’s a slighter larger wad of dough to get a couple new lynx pelts for a brand new stole, it’s worth the cost as long as you preserve the skins and not be too rough with it
